The SS Camaro and baseball, a winning combo!
Presented on July 17th in Washington, outstanding baseball player Alex Bregman, third baseman for the Houston Astros, won the new Chevrolet Camaro SS Coupe at the All-Star Game MVP award ceremony.

An even better surprise is that the star player gave this beautiful car to his mother, Jackie. For those less familiar with American baseball, Chevrolet is the official vehicle of Major League Baseball.

A recognized brand

Chevrolet, the only brand to have won three consecutive JD Power Severions for cars, trucks and SUVs, gave the Houston Astros player the choice between the redesigned Camaro Coupe or the Colorado ZR2, ready for the trail. Now we know that his choice was the 2019 Camaro SS.

Bregman set a good example for baseball fans, and especially children and parents, through his exceptional teamwork – qualities that are essential for winning on the baseball field, in school and in life - and that's why Chevrolet is proud to present the stunning 2019 Camaro SS.

Highlights of the new 2019 Camaro SS

Personality, a new, muscular style and more: the new 2019 Camaro SS is amazing. First to catch your eye are the new rear bumpers, new LED tail lights with a more sculpted evolution of Chevrolet's two-part signature: red lenses on the LS and LT; dark-tinted neutral-density lenses on the RS, SS and ZL1; and 20-inch wheels on the RS and the SS.

In addition, the new 2019 Camaro SS is now available with a 10 L80 10-speed automatic transmission with custom launch control and line lock to appeal to any seasoned driver.

In short, congratulations to our great player Alex Bergman and Chevrolet’s willingness to create this winning combination.
