It was in October 2022 that Chevrolet unveiled the all-new 2024 Trax, a small SUV that is making a marked comeback after a model year break. Now we're offered a bigger, bolder and completely unique Trax. Available in five versions, you will find the Trax 2024 that represents you.
New exterior design
279mm longer, 51mm wider and lower, the 2024 Trax has a sportier look. Its clean lines, its black honeycomb grille, as well as its luminous elements, recall the exterior design of the Chevrolet Blazer.
Each version will have different features. For example, the LS and LT versions are considered more streamlined. The 1RS and 2RS versions are more sporty in addition to unique emblems. Note that a new version is available, the Activ, and it stands out with black aluminum wheels, black Chevrolet emblems, a chrome titanium skid plate and much more.
A spacious cabin
With 161 L more cargo space and 76 mm more rear legroom, your journeys will be safer and more comfortable.
With an 8-inch (LS and 1RS trims) or 11-inch center touchscreen that ties into the 8-inch digital instrument panel, it's safe to say that screens are a big part of the 2024 Trax's cabin. All trims are equipped with standard heated seats and steering wheel.
Performance
A turbocharged 1.2-liter I-3 engine developing 137 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque, as well as a six-speed automatic transmission hide under the hood of the 2024 Trax. Note that the automatic transmission has been improved, in order to provide more power during acceleration and to ensure lower fuel consumption. However, we will have to wait for the official ratings.
Safety first
The 2024 Trax offers a wide array of safety features, including standard Chevrolet Safety Assist. It also offers advanced features designed to keep you safe on the road, including Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert and Cross Traffic Alert (available as options).
