Intensive training in France for Emy Legault

Notre-Dame-Ile-Perrot resident Emy Legault is an exceptional triathlete. She is currently training to compete at the Tokyo Olympics in 2020.

The young woman was recently in France, where she took part in an intense training period.

The Chevrolet Buick GMC Ile-Perrot ambassador took a few minutes of her time to send us news:

« I am now back from France after 5 weeks of altitude training. The team and I were based at Les Angles in the French Pyrenees. The village is 1700 meters above sea level. It was 5 big weeks of training, but we can finally see the form in which I had performed last October coming back. Returning from injury has been long, but now I know that my body is stronger than before and that it is only a question of staying healthy for the results to start coming back.

I am now back in Hong Kong since 1 week and I am preparing for a series of competitions to come. The first two are Asian Cup in Japan on September 15th and 22nd. Then, I will compete in the local Asian Cup in Hong Kong on October 12th followed by the World Cup in South Korea on October 19th. If all goes well, we will add the Miyazaki World Cup in Japan on October 26th to end the season. »
