A centennial being celebrated in big fashion: see the new 2018 Colorado

The story highlights that since 1918 Chevrolet's first, diminutive pick-up trucks have been affectionately nicknamed "Chevy". As a result, the Chevrolet name was definitely inspired by the nickname because of the speed and driving agility of the first Chevrolet trucks.

One hundred years later, we have a great edition with an all-black exterior finish, the black Chevrolet emblem and 17-inch 5-spoke black wheels. The band new 2018 Colorado ZR2 features an all-terrain sports bar with LED lighting. For non-admirers of black, Chevrolet also offers the ZR2 version in Dusk colour.

The Midnight and Dusk Colorado ZR2

The Colorado ZR2 is truly a category in itself. It’s geared toward lovers of rocky terrain and desert crossings, among others. Naturally, its comfort allows long or short trips on urban roads. Note that the Colorado ZR2 version is 2 inches higher than its Colorado counterpart and it also has a wider track.

These performance features include an off-road suspension with cast iron suspension arms and multimatic DSSV dampers. This makes the truck suspension more dynamic, making the vehicle efficient off-road and on the road.

Its appearance is also sportier with a sportier look featuring modified front and rear bumpers.

A first for the Colorado ZR2 Midnight and Twilight editions

The ZR2 made its appearance at the SEMA Show Las Vegas, Nevada Convention Center from October 31 to November 3. A nice addition to complete the other three special Colorado editions: Custom, Z71 Midnight and the Shoreline. The same manufacturer presented 20 other Chevrolet models.
